- Security: We maintain robust security measures to protect Your Data (see Section 7)
- No unauthorized use: We do not use Your Data for our own purposes or disclose it to third parties except as required to provide the Service or as you direct
- Encryption: Your Data is encrypted in transmission and may be encrypted at rest depending on your Service configuration
- Retention: Your Data is retained in accordance with your account settings and our retention policies. Upon termination of your account, Your Data will be deleted according to our standard procedures
3.2 Customer Services and Demonstrations
From time to time, our customers may request that we:
- Provide demonstrations of the Service
- Deliver technical support or professional services
- Assist with implementation, integration, or troubleshooting
In these circumstances, customers may provide us with sample data that could include personal information.
When this occurs:

14. Definitions
“ION,” “we,” “us,” or “our” means ION Video Limited, ACN 149 796 332, with offices at Level 2, 161 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000, Australia.
“Service” means ION’s Video Superintelligence platform, including the ION Virtualization Engine, associated tools, APIs, software, and Documentation.
“ION Sites” means ion.video and other websites operated by ION.
“Personal information” means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether true or not and whether recorded in material form or not.
“Your Data” means all content, files, video assets, metadata, and other materials submitted to the Service by you or your authorized users.
“Privacy Act” means the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) of Australia.
“APPs” means the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act.
“GDPR” means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
“CCPA” means the California Consumer Privacy Act.
